Speed test results depend on your current network conditions, distance to the test server, device hardware, and how many devices are sharing your connection. Try closing background apps, moving closer to your Wi-Fi router, and running the test again for more accurate results.

A typical speed test uses between 5 MB and 25 MB of data depending on your connection speed. On faster connections, more data is transferred to get an accurate reading. We recommend using Wi-Fi if you have a limited data plan.

No. XSpeed does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Your speed test history is saved locally on your device only and is never shared with anyone.

High ping is usually caused by physical distance to the server, network congestion, or router issues — not download/upload speed. Try testing at different times of day or restarting your router if you consistently see high latency.

Yes! XSpeed is fully optimized for both iPhone and iPad with a responsive layout that adapts beautifully to all screen sizes.

Your test history is stored locally on your device. You can clear it from within the app's History section. Deleting the app will also permanently remove all stored results.

Jitter measures the variation in ping over time. A low jitter value means your connection is stable and consistent, which is important for video calls, gaming, and VoIP. High jitter can cause stuttering and poor call quality even if your average ping seems acceptable.

Data We Collect

XSpeed does not collect any personally identifiable information. No account is required to use the app. We do not have access to your name, email, location, or any personal details.

Speed Test Results

Speed test results (download speed, upload speed, ping, jitter) are stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Analytics

XSpeed may use Apple's built-in crash reporting to help us identify and fix technical issues. This data is anonymous and handled entirely by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

Speed tests are conducted by connecting to public test servers. These servers may log your IP address temporarily as part of normal server operation, which is outside our control. No personal data is shared with any advertising networks or data brokers.

Children's Privacy

XSpeed does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. The app contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.
